Just Hanging out

Today I am not doing much I am mostly hanging out with my family. We are going on a car trip to North Field because my grandpa had a knee surgery. So we are going to visit him. Then we are going to have brunch with my grandma. It will be very fun!

Basketball Game

Today I had a basketball game it was great! We played the greatest defense. I got to carry up the ball I also got to throw it in. My team is called crazy eights because we have 8 players. My friends passed to me and I got a shot. At the end of the game we were really excited because we won! The score was 28 to 12.

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered.  Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.  Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies.  Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you.  Be honest and sincere anyway.

What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight.  Create anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous.  Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, will often be forgotten.  Do good anyway.

Give the best you have, and it will never be enough.  Give your best anyway.

In the final analysis, it is between you and God.  It was never between you and them anyway.

Periwinkle Power

So, this is a place to celebrate what's good. Periwinkle,  indigo violet,  is my absolute favorite color ... it reminds me of the sky, the flowers outside my house, my eyes and everything possible.  Did you know that even Dumbledore in Harry Potter world loves this color too? So, if you're a Periwinkle person mostly -- join me and lookout for the good. When we focus on a good intention it give us a lot of power.
Periwinkle power is all about looking for the good in the world or bad ....  so, each day we'll talk about one thing that really makes us happy. I'll try this for a whole week if I can and see what happens.
